Colby joined the firm in 2015 after completing his Master's Degree in Business Administration from Husson University.
Prior to joining the firm, Colby worked as a tax preparer and bookkeeper for a large national firm, and as a municipal tax assessor in Maine where he gained an extensive knowledge of real estate and personal property tax law. He also worked for a major medical device manufacturer as a Senior Procurement Analyst, where he developed advanced Excel formulas and worksheets as part of the supplier selection (risk and analysis) process.
Colby will use his skills to help our small business clients with all of their QuickBooks setup and accounting needs and will work on preparing income tax returns for our individual and small business clients.
Colby has just demonstrated his significant tax knowledge by becoming recognized as an Enrolled Agent after successfully completing all of his exams administered by the IRS. He is also currently working towards becoming a CPA, and is affiliated with many professional and civic organizations.
Colby enjoys spending time at sporting events with his wife and son, and has become an avid golfer over the past several years.
