Karen Todino, CPA
Karen joined the firm in the summer of 2024. Karen is a CPA with more than 20 years of experience in auditing, accounting and taxation. She has experience with high wealth individuals, small to medium-sized businesses in various industries, including professional service businesses, real estate investments and non-profit organizations. She also has experience in various tax entities such as S-Corps, partnerships and trusts. Karen especially enjoys working with clients to achieve their goals, identify planning opportunities, and cultivating strong working relationships that last years. She has extensive experience with QuickBooks and has set up countless organizations in QuickBooks. She also works to help clients with the IRS and state DORs where she has helped numerous clients resolve tough tax issues.
Karen is also a big believer in giving back to her community. Over the years, Karen has volunteered for United Cerebral Palsy (UCP), an organization near and dear to her heart, both in New York State and Massachusetts. Karen organized a “dress down day” at the bank she worked at to raise money for research and awareness for UCP and would assist with face-painting the kids at other fundraisers. As her boys were involved in sports, she assisted with both the travel soccer board and volunteering time to the local baseball community.
When not in the office, Karen enjoys spending time with family and friends. Karen and her husband are the parents of two very active teenage boys. They are most often found on many different fields depending on the season – soccer, football, baseball and even track and field. Other interests include traveling, jet skiing, snowmobiling, parasailing and the arts.
Karen earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts. She is a member of the AICPA and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs
